Marcy Heegeman - Fifth Grade Teacher

Hello! I am beginning my 20th year teaching and my seventh year here in the Centralia School District at Oakview Elementary. I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and lived for many years in Eugene - Go Ducks! I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Pacific University in 2007 and my Master's degree from Saint Joseph's University in 2014. My family and I have moved across the country a couple of times and are very happy to be settled back in the Pacific Northwest near beaches, mountains, and Oregon Duck football games. I love working in the Centralia community and partnering with students and families to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom family!
