Mrs. Leslie - 2nd Grade Teacher

Hello!! I am Mrs. Leslie.

This is my 21st year of teaching, but 8th year at Oakview Elementary.  Previously I taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Jefferson Lincoln for 3 years.  I was also a special education teacher for 10 years with students of different age groups in a school district in Vancouver, WA.

I am originally from Taiwan, a small island country near China.  I immigrated to the United States about 24 years ago to complete my Master in Teaching degree from Washington State University Vancouver. 

Some fun facts about me: 

• Beach is my happy place!!
• I love going for walks, playing games, and reading.
• My favorite snacks are dark chocolate and Boom Chicka Pop Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn.
• Elephant and Piggy books always makes me giggle!
• Can you have too many ducks? We have 19!
• I can hula-hoop super good!
